O Organics™

Kids can be picky, but encouraging them to eat healthier food while they’re young can help create lifelong habits. O Organics™ give you access to an affordable and growing line of organic food that brings convenience into your kitchen. O Organics includes everything from baby food to fresh food and beverages for adults.

Our entire line of O Organics products is USDA-certified organic, ensuring that at least 95% of the ingredients are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides fertilizers, antibiotics, added growth hormones or Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) — providing you and your family with a complete line of wholesome and great tasting food. When O Organics launched in 2005, we became one of the first major retailers to offer a wide selection of organic food. Albertsons Companies is still leading the way and continuing to expand our product portfolio with diverse and affordable organic options.

O Organics is proud to offer Fair Trade Certified coffee, which means the beans in our coffee bags are grown responsibly. Open Nature™

Sometimes, it’s hard to find wholesome options for the food your family members prefer. We’ve created a line of products to make eating delicious food as easy for you as possible.

You’ll find what nature intended in our Open Nature™ line. This means no artificial colors or preservatives, no added trans fat, and no hydrogenated oils. Open Nature meat comes from animals raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and they are all vegetarian-fed. You don’t have to sacrifice flavor to eat more naturally.

Open Nature products include fresh chicken and beef, bread, yogurt, salad dressing, and frozen food. We’ve continued to add a variety of new items, including frozen yogurt bars and eggs.

Eating Right™

Eating Right™ understands that finding food to meet specific health and wellness needs isn’t always easy. That’s why we specifically made great-tasting meals and snacks for the way people want to eat. With carefully balanced ingredients and targeted nutrition for a variety of needs, we make it simple to find what you’re looking for. The Eating Right brand offers four different types of products:

  • High Protein products that are also low in net carbs
  • Healthy Living products that are low in fat, sodium and cholesterol that help support a healthy heart
  • Gluten Free products that taste as good as the “real” thing
  • Calorie Counting products that are lower in calories

Bright Green®

To help set our planet up for a bright future, we launched Bright Green®, a line of earth-friendlier home care products. Bright Green cleaning products are as effective as leading national brands, but they’re made with naturally derived and biodegradable ingredients whenever possible.

Bright Green products include:

  • Household cleaning and laundry products made with non-toxic and biodegradable ingredients
  • Paper products made from at least 50% recycled content
  • Compact fluorescent light bulbs

The Bright Green All Purpose Cleaner and Bathroom Cleaner are now certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to kill 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and germs. These and many other Bright Green home cleaning products are approved by the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) and/or Safer Choice programs.

All Bright Green products have been evaluated by a third-party agency, which reviews the product life cycle and ensures that the benefits are not accompanied by hidden negative environmental impacts.

Our Softly® Bath and Facial Tissue, Our Strongest Bath Tissue, Our Softest Bath Tissue and Ultra Thirsty® Paper Towels are produced following the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), certified through the Rainforest Alliance. FSC standards certify that paper products use fiber sourced from FSC certified suppliers who follow the strictest standards in responsible, ethical forestry management and production chain of custody. When you see the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Seal, you can rest easy knowing the product was developed using environmentally and socially responsible practices.
